Maintaining Your Skills!

One of the most important responsibilities in any profession is to keep up with industry standards and to maintain your skill set. I subscribe to several graphic design blogs about industry trends and certain ways to improve on projects. I recently came across a blog about vector illustration, which is just a fancy way to say it was drawn on your computer. The blog gave a step-by-step tutorial on how to illustrate a clock. Might seem easy, but there are many fine details that you have to give attention to in order to make it realistic looking, like shading and the distance between the hour marks.
